Day 1: Fly North to Lofoten

Upon arrival at Leknes Airport, a scenic drive winds you through the heart of Lofoten’s dramatic landscapes. Get a first glance at the rugged peaks that rise sharply from the sea; the fishing villages that dot the fjords; and the Atlantic light shifting over turquoise waters. Our destination and home base for our time in Lofoten is Hattvika Lodge, perched on a hillside in Ballstad with panoramic views that invite you to breathe and unwind. Settle into your cabin or private sauna, then take a leisurely stroll along the harbor to feel the pulse of a working fishing village, with cod racks, colorful boats, and sea eagles overhead. As evening falls, savor a meal of freshly caught Arctic cod or halibut at the lodge’s kitchen, where local ingredients are transformed with elegant minimalism. The day closes with a sense of calm and anticipation, the Arctic light lingering on the water as you exhale and fully arrive in Lofoten.

Stay: Hattvika Lodge

Day 2: Cinematic Views & Postcard Villages

Wake to crisp Arctic air and prepare for a day that epitomizes the cinematic beauty of Lofoten. Journey south to Reine, Hamnøy, and Sakrisøy for a short but steep ascent to one of the most breathtaking panoramas in the world: Reinebringen. Fjords, islands, and crimson rorbuer stretch as far as the eye can see. In the afternoon, meander through the postcard-perfect villages, capturing quiet moments by the harbor, exploring local galleries, or stopping for coffee in tiny cafés tucked between wooden houses.

Day 3: Coastal Hikes & Arctic Serenity

Today is an intimate immersion in Lofoten’s wild side. Hike the trail from Ryten to Kvalvika Beach. The combination of effort and reward is quintessential Lofoten: each step offers new angles of breathtaking scenery, each pause a moment of silence that feels almost sacred. In the afternoon, join us for some scuba diving (suitable for beginners) in some of the clearest waters on the planet or opt for a dip in the ocean, followed by a private fjord-side sauna.

In the evening, you’ll enjoy another exquisite dinner featuring the freshest catch, paired with local delicacies. The day blends physical exertion, awe-inspiring landscapes, and restorative luxury in perfect harmony.
